Hi all,

So, I sent an AoS application (I-485, I-765, I-131) in January, and had my Biometrics appointment on Monday (3/16). The notice stated that this was for I-485 and I-765 (Employment Authorization).

Confusingly, I have today received a second Biometrics appointment notice for the I-131 (Travel Document), for early April. I didn't think the I-131 required Biometrics/ assumed that if it did, it would be combined it with the other one. Regardless of this, the appointment wouldn't go ahead anyway, given the unfortunate global crisis going on right now.

Is this the normal procedure/ has this happened to other people? Could it be some kind of admin error?

Thanks

Hi! I also received the same. Had my biometrics for AOS & EAD last March 4. Received another bio appointment for TD scheduled on March 27. However, the other day I got a notification via email and check my myuscis account and it says that my biometrics for TD was completed. Called USCIS today to confirm it and it is true. Seems they just used my biometrics on file. Also my ASC in Detroit is close starting March 18.

Hope your case will be the same.

Just to update - the case status on my I-131 eventually automatically changed to 'Case was Updated to show Fingerprints were Taken'. I also eventually received a letter from USCIS stating that my previously-captured Biometrics were being used for this application, so it all seems to work its-self out in the end. Thanks for the replies!
