  1. Hello! The text I received also says I-797C. But the Form I-797 I received this morning has no C on it but highlighted on the first sentence that my GC is extended for 24 months. Yours is probably on it’s way. Sucks that you can’t signup for informed delivery. But it’s good news that you received the biometrics notice like you said it means they have the right address. Good luck!
  2. Update: Received I-797 today. Does anyone know a rough estimate of when they usually schedule a biometrics appointment for ROC just in case they don’t use the biometrics from AOS? I’ll be out of the US for the whole month of February. But fingers crossed that they will just reuse the AOS biometrics. Thank you! My case number starts with LIN so it’s Nebraska. If that helps. Thanks again.
  3. Hello! Idk if this is gonna be really helpful but if you sent it through USPS and don’t have a USPS mobile app, maybe try signing up so you can monitor it via informed delivery? I’ve been anxious like you waiting for the I-797 because I’m set to travel at the end of the month but mine was delivered on 1/5 at Carol Stream, IL. Received the email and text notif that they received my case with the case number on 1/9. But like @Misscloud said it will take 1-2 weeks and sometimes a month before it arrives (I tried inquiring for it yesterday via the USCIS website but it says wait for 30 days lol). I’ve been checking informed delivery everyday since I got the case number (I know I know 🤣). An hour ago I checked it again and there it is. It says it’s arriving tomorrow. Hopefully you receive yours soon! Good luck!
  4. Hello! Yes it’s been delivered on 1/5. I got the text yesterday 1/9 that they received my ROC packet and expect NOA soon. I feel you because we are traveling on the end of January too. From what I see from November and December 2022 ROC Filers, most of them receive their NOA in 1-2 weeks once they got the text. Hopefully we both receive our NOA so we won’t have to worry about our travel. If you don’t mind when are you coming back from your trip? I’m coming back on Feb 28. But my GC expires on March 2 so really really close to the expiration.
  5. Hello! You sent yours a day before mine. Hopefully you will be getting an update soon!
  6. An update to my case. Sent it on 1/3 via USPS Priority Express Mail 1-Day. But was not delivered the next day but the bright side is I’m getting a refund for my fee. Packet was delivered on 1/5 and just got a text today 1/9 that they received and NOA is on the way.
  7. Hello! Not really helpful or at the same situation but kinda having the same feeling too. I sent my ROC yesterday 1/3 (so not a December filer) through USPS Priority Express Mail 1 Day guaranteed delivery and it’s not delivered today 1/4 and still says arrived at distribution center and hasn’t moved since 11:39 pm when it says it arrived there. I know I’m just overthinking and it might arrive tomorrow but with how unreliable USPS sometimes is, I just kept thinking on the worst case scenario. So I sympathize with you. Every time we have to deal with immigration process it’s always so stressful. I hope you will hear soon on your case! Good luck!
  8. Hello to everyone who replied on this thread. I sent my ROC packet yesterday 1/3 via USPS Priority Express Mail 1-Day. The PO lady said guaranteed delivery is 1/4 at 6 pm (today) and that if it’s not delivered I come back and they will refund my payment. It’s already 4:41 pm as of writing this and my tracking still shows this. Guess it will not be there today. Anyone sent their packet through USPS Priority Express Mail? What’s your experience?
  9. Hello everyone! I just sent my ROC yesterday 1/3. Hopefully we will all have a smooth process.
  10. Yeah it’s our first trip to my home country since I got here. It’ll be me, my husband and our kid. Hopefully I receive the extension letter before we leave lol
  11. Hello! Thank you for your input! I’ll just include it then. I was thinking that it might somehow delay even the extension letter *which I badly need at this point* lol. But thank you again! I’m relieved 😅
  12. Does anyone know if it will hurt my ROC if I include our booking confirmation of our international travel? I know it’s dumb but I’m kind of worried and anxious that the IO who will get my file will think that I’m risking to travel so close to my GC’s expiration. Any insight will help. Thank you.
  13. Hello! Thanks for sharing your timeline. I’m actually lurking on December 2022 filers yesterday and so far seeing majority has received their letters promptly. Hopefully it will be my case too. I’m 99% done with my application package and will just double check them before sending. I was thinking of sending them today if I can but also know that it will be a weekend holiday so don’t know if sending it today (and kind of rushing) will make a lot of difference. If I don’t send this today I’ll surely send it on January 3rd when they resume office.
  14. Yeah I thought so too. Well will just send this ROC as soon as I can and hope for the best. Thank you!
  15. Hello! I should’ve realized that and it’s just now sinking in more. I was honestly thinking it was safe because I’ll be sending the ROC on January (I initial planned mid December but got really busy) so I have some time. I forgot how USCIS is with their actions. I’m hoping that I’ll have the extension letter prior to traveling on January 31st. With this, I’ll be looking at tickets just in case but will also try to send this ROC as soon as I can. I’m almost done and just need to double-check everything. Is a passport stamp applicable for this situation or is it really just the GC or expired GC & extension letter?
  16. Hello! Thanks for your reply! I should have known that there are no definite timeline to USCIS. I would have waited but the travel plan is needed and urgent. I’m just gonna cross my finger that they respond right away. Hello! Thanks for your reply! That’s what I was thinking since technically it’s still valid when I come back. If there are no delays on our flight back to US. We should be back here morning of March 1st but I’d be more confident if I have a letter just in case. Also to clarify we will only be gone for a month and with how USCIS is I’m hoping they don’t call me for biometrics 🤣
  17. Hello! My 90-day window for filing ROC has started this December. I’m curious how long do they usually respond with the Notice of Action that will show you filed ROC thus extending the conditional green card? I’m getting ready to send my ROC on the first week of January. My GC expires on March 2. We will be traveling outside of US in the end of January and will be back on March 1. Do I have enough time to receive the notice of action? Thank you
  18. Hello Sir! I'm so happy to hear about your experience (aside from the ocean park because I was planning on bringing my niece and nephew there once we are in Ph but yep if they don't want our money there are other places to go that will)! I'm checking emed.com, you have no idea how this save us because I've been looking around for antigen testing that will not scare our 2 year old. Quick question if you don't mind, which exact test did you purchase from emed? Just wanna make sure I'm getting the same so there will be no problem on our end too once we arrive in Ph. Have a fun and safe vacation there! Thank you so much for all the info and tips!
  19. Hello Bob! Thanks for your info. Glad that it’s a smooth process. Just wondering if you are vaccinated or not? We are not so I guess they will verify our antigen test certification? Enjoy your vacation!
  20. Hello! Not yet but was contemplating this. I’ve searched all over the internet about this website and their service but have not seen any convincing proof that they are legit or a lot of people have used them successfully, thus why I asked here. We’re flying early next year so not gonna test anytime soon. We might just end up going to one of the urgent care near us and have them do the testing.
  21. Hello! Yes we are not vaccinated so we still need to take antigen test before flying just so we don’t have to do it upon arrival.
  22. You’re welcome! I just happen to see it because I was obsessing on reading about travel requirements to Ph lol. Safe travels! You’re welcome! Safe travels!
  23. Hello it’s me again. Just looking for any experience or insight regarding this website and if their service is actually accepted for international travel. On their website, Ph is one of the countries listed that accepts antigen test which is really the case now. I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to purchase the antigen test kit that comes with a certification. On the etravel website, requirements for unvaccinated travels mentions: “1. Travelers 15 years and older shall present a remotely supervised/laboratory-based Rapid Antigen Test administered and certified by a healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, or other similar establishment taken 24 hours prior to the date and time of departure from country of origin/first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding lay-overs; provided that, he/she has not left the airport premises or has not been admitted into another country during such lay-over.” Technically this is a remotely supervised rapid antigen test right? Because a healthcare professional will be with you on videocall while you’re administering the test. Any insight will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
  24. Hello Sir! Are you traveling with minors 15 below? I’m probably overthinking this but to be sure, does the requirement below means minors with unvaccinated parents need to take antigen test since adults need to or? Thank you! “ACCOMPANIED minors below 15 years of age who are NOT VACCINATED for any reason whatsoever shall follow the quarantine protocols of their parent/s or an accompanying adult/guardian traveling with them.”
