I am currently unemployed for about 10 months now and there was a part in the form where its asking for my recent 10 month pay stub. Can i submit i-864 without pay stub?

Where? Screenshot?

I mislead my sentence, it does not say on the i-864 form but I've seen few cover letters for form i-864 that they included pay stubs for over 6-10 months. Do i need to submit my pay stubs?

What are you using to prove you meet the poverty guidelines in Part 6 Qu 7?

Are you using your most recent year's reported taxable income from the Return Transcript or are you using a current employment verification letter stating your predicted 2020 income?

If the latter, submitting 6 months of current paystubs is a good backup to support the predicted amount reported in your EVL.

I use a joint sponsor on form i-864 because I don't meet the poverty guidelines.

My joint sponsor use his 3 most recent year's taxable income which is from 2016-2018(He didn't file yet for 2019).

Specifically look at the exact question i referred to above ie. Part 6 Qu 7. That is the only thing that is relevant to what you have asked originally. We arent talking about Part 6 Qu 24a, b and c.

i put my joint sponsor's current individual income which is $40,000.

Where did the $40000 come from?

Their 2018 tax return gross total amount or from a current employment verification letter?

from 2018 tax return gross total amount. Did i do wrong?

Make sure you use Annual Current Income and not Adjusted Gross Income, they are two different things.

Current Income is before any tax deductions, 401k, and any other deductions. That's the sponsor salary or hourly rate * hr/week * 52. This number goes on question 7.

Adjusted Gross Income is after all those deductions mentioned before. This number goes on 24a,b,c.

NO! But you have the OPTION to use your CURRENT EMPLOYMENT INCOME AS LISTED IN AN EVL (and as explained in every one of my comments here). IF you use CURRENT EMPLOYMENT INCOME listed on an EVL then YES, you will provide paystubs as BACKUP TO THE AMOUNT LISTED IN THE EVL.

IF you are using your income tax reported income INSTEAD, you DO NOT submit paystubs which was your ORIGINAL QUESTION.

Thank you so much! I'm really overwhelmed with all this form. God Bless.
