Yes, we initially filed the case with CR1, but we’ve been married for over 2 years at the time of interview. There’s no any update so far and many other spouses of USC are in the same boat right now (Interview was OK, but no VISA). I don’t understand why the embassy schedules the interview but not issuing VISA.

It might be that spouses who applied for a CR1 or spouses of perm residents are being held up by the executive order. Mainly only spouses over 2 years to US citizens are getting visas issued.. it seems.

Not sure since I haven’t seen single person who got VISA regardless their category ; CR1/IR1. The embassy reschedule the interview Only for the children/spouse of USC. That’s what embassy said. I guess possibly me and your wife are in the same online community sharing immigration info in South Korea. Am pretty sure your wife is well informed right now. And As far as I know CR1/IR1 is not restricted by trump administration EO.
