waiting for nvc letter

The State Department website will guide you through each step its a really great tool.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html

You should get your email in about 2 weeks with your NVC case number and INVOICE number. Do not lose this email its very important. And later in the mail NVC will send you a letter in the mail but the email is faster.

This wiki will be helpful for you.

This guide is really outdated some of its still helpful but I found a lot of it not relating to the way things are currently working with everything online and actually just confuses you. But some of it is helpful just don't go by it step by step go by the state department step by step instructions instead.
