I've been anxiously waiting and expecting a result after about 11 months from filing date and I got a notifications instead that my case was transferred to another Service Center.  I'm worried and wondering if my case has to start over and have to wait another year to get an update or result.

My case was initially assigned to Nebraska Service Center.  I'm awaiting letter in the mail to get details as to the reason for transfer and to which Service Center my case was transferred to.

Has anyone had similar experience regarding their case?  What to expect next, and how does that impact processing time?  Please share your experience.  I'll greatly appreciate.

Thank you very much!  I hope things work in our favor.

I doubt you'll get any explanation.  Service Centers routinely transfer cases to balance workload.  In late 2016, our I-130 was transferred from Nebraska to Texas.  It had no negative effect on the timeline at all......good luck.

your case is probably about to get approved, Mine was at California and on December 17th 2019 it was transferred to Vermont and on January 6th 2020 it was approved and I have seen it happen to a lot of people here. Online they don't tell you where your case was transferred to but if you call USCIS and enter you case number when asked to they will tell you where. Good luck!

Thank you.  That's great!  I'm glad your case got approved!  How long after the transfer did you get the approval?

Same here, 10 months of waiting and last march 2nd I checked my status online and it says its transfered to another office for processing but still didn't receive that notice yet, so until now I have no idea what office they transferred it to. So yesterday march 19th, I checked again online and it says "my case, requesting for evidence is sent" now that's making me nervous. I have to wait for that letter too. Hopefully everything is going to be ok. I'll update again when i receive the RFE notice.

I appreciate you sharing your case status.  Looks like our cases might be in a bit similar situation.  I haven't received the notice of transfer either and until then, I'm just speculating which service center it's been transferred to and hoping that the transfer will help speed up the process from now on.

I wish you well in your case.  I hope and pray that things will work in our favor and we can bring our family here and be reunited.
