My wife has her counseling paper from 2002. Just wondering if she will need to attend another one to be able too emigrate out of the country.  Anyone have any insight on this issue?

Depends.    Was the counseling certificate for GCP or PDOS seminar?

GCP is for spouses and fiance of foreign citizens (USA).    You have been married to your wife for 18 years or she was married to a foreigner once before?

 

PDOS is for all others (including OFW)

Yes 18 years in 2 months. Lived in the Philippines until 2 years ago. Her CFO was to join me in Korea but it was for travel to the United states

If it was GCP it should be one and done.   Mary's stamp said Mexico, since tat is where we lived after we were married but had the USA session.

Excellent that would be GCP!!  Then yes that certificate is still good, they don't expire.   All she needs to do is after receiving her visa is bring her passport and her certificate to CFO to get the sticker in her passport
