Hi guys! Hope you can help me. The Civil Surgeon signed my i693 on 10/15/2019 and I applied for aos (marriage based) on 12/24/2019. Recently I received the courtessy letter because of this.

The Civil Surgeon and I resigned the form with the new date (02/29/2020) do you know if this will Be Ok for USCIS? We did it this way because the doctor said that the test results were not expired. I have my interview on April 8 and I just want yo be sure that we wont have any problems with this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi this is very similar to my case. I did my first i-693 around the same time you did, but because I waited more than 2 months, I had to get a new exam done. I went to my doctor and did everything from scratch except the QuantiFERON tubercolosis blood test to save more than a hundred dollars. But then I got worried and asked the doctor if I he recommends me doing it. And he called the USCIS (no answer), and another doctor to check with, and they both agreed that the QuantiFERON and all tests need to be on the date it was signed. He also continued that if he was to do this for for his wife, he would absolutely have her do all exams. This because he said he doesn't know who USCIS hires to review these forms, if they are doctors the non-expired dates would be fine, but if they are not doctors then they will just follow USCIS guidance and deny the form. So don't take any risks and re-do all exams from scratch, don't just have the doctor re-sign on old exams. I did everything again on 01/10/2020 and submitted my application on 02/22/2020.
