Yes - over PIZZA.  Lol.  It was gross pizza too!  Their health department score is typically 35/100, but we did not know this at the time of the order.  The more you know...

You DO!!  Fellow Winterpegger, too - right? :)

YESSS! Winnipeg born and raised 😆

What I miss the most is being able to disappear in a crowd.  I could be having the best time of my life with my friends, and remain totally anonymous.  Plus, everything was open whenever we felt like doing stuff - not like here, where the hours are all family friendly and also church oriented (closed evenings and Sundays).  So weird!

I would have paid. Waited few days and then go to the restaurant to dine in, I will order one thing from everything, once food is on the table I will put in my food a fly or a bug that I brought with me. Then I will make a scene and tell them I don't want the food and then will walk out.

Just kidding.

Too much happened over a pizza. Not worth it.

Good luck in your citizenship, this doesn't sound a big deal.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

You're funny! :)  But yes, too much over pizza.  Thank you - I'm feeling a LOT better about the situation now.

I often feel like the middle child of Canada that everyone, including Canada, forgets about 🤣 There is a tim hortons commercial where they show tims locations in every single province BUT Manitoba

You're JOKING...Winnipeg has a Tim's on every BLOCK!  Brandon has what, two??  That's nuts.  Maybe I need to find my husband a new coffee brand (yes, I've spent 8 years in the US and my husband still asks for Tim's coffee to be ordered monthly, LOL...)

Every single corner! But somehow, like the forgotten middle child that we are, no Manitoba locations were featured in the commercial

Wow...that's just disappointing!  At least 7-11 recognized us as the slurpee capital (for a little while anyway...do we still hold that? :) Gosh I miss slurpees!!)

Hooray!  This makes me happy!  😍 Give me a cola slurpee any day (could be Coke or Pepsi, either is good), and I'm a happy girl.  In fact, I may have to grab the closest local option tonight (it doesn't compare by a LONG SHOT, but it'll do. :) )
