Congrats, you! You are putting me to shame, getting so much done after being here such a short time!!

Is driving on the 'wrong' side of the road weird, even though you didn't drive in the UK, or does it seem natural? I had some driving lessons, uh, 13 years ago, but haven't driven since... I'm still terrified I'll accidentally start driving on the left or something, though.

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I've been here for 6 months now and, despite having major problems even crossing the road on foot, I am now accustomed to the "right hand side of the road" thing. In fact, the left now feels odd.

Course, I can't actually drive yet myself (as you well know!) but I'm feeling more confident that I won't be driving down the left hand side of the road whilst accidentally day dreaming of Cadbury's Flakes. :hehe:

It was good that I didnt drive in the uk I guess. I got used to driving really quickly due to the fact that I have no old habits to break or that i'm used to driving on the otherside of the road. Life is a million times easier when you learn with an automatic! There's no way I would have even attempted to take my test so early if I had to use a stick!!!

That's what I keep telling myself - that not having to faff about with all that clutch control malarkey will make it 1000x easier... here's hoping, anyway - I wouldn't know, having never driven an automatic in my life! Anyway, I'm so impressed you passed your test so quickly... well done (again)!
