New 864 form for interview?

I submitted my AOS package quite a while ago now. My service center is really backed up and green card interviews are taking a really long time to come up, so it’s looking like I’ll have mine around the summer/fall of this year. 
 

I submitted my husband’s 2018 taxes with the petition, as I sent it in about a year ago in 2019 and that was the most recent tax filing. However, because this is taking so long I’m wondering if I’m supposed to do a new affidavit with the new tax filing, especially since I have given birth to our second child now and our household size is different. 
 

I’m planning on bringing the new tax transcript to the interview anyway as proof of bonafide marriage since we filed married jointly and my name and ssn is on them, but wondering if I’m supposed to bring a new affidavit due to birth of son/household size increase?

The existing I-864 remains valid. At the same time, having an updated one is suggested as they may ask for a new one if they believe there is a reason the circumstances may have changed.

As stated above, your i-864 is still valid though I'd bring a new one to the interview just in case. I'd also bring the most recent tax transcript as well. It's better to have too much than not enough.
