My petition was just received last Tuesday. I'm trying to figure out how the income requirements work. If they will be looking at my W2 from 2019 and my family size before this upcoming May, I'm fine. My income is over the 125%.  Changes are coming though. We will have a new baby at the end of May (another dependent) and my income will be lower  for 2020 because i don't receive paid maternity leave. I'd prefer to not work a second job while I'm pregnant, but should i assume i will need to make up for the loss of income from maternity leave plus the $700 i fall short of the %125 when the baby is added?

Sounds like you will need a qualified joint sponsor.

Yeah... that's what I'm afraid of. I think I'm going to have to get a second job at 5 months pregnant and hope it's enough.

K1 income requirements are 100% of poverty guidelines (about a year from now)

after interview there will be AP to do security checks and document verification (this can last months)

as noted in another post here the doctors are backed up 2 months for the medical exam

USC needs to be able to afford health care insurance for the Moroccan

AOS you need 125%  and that is a ways off / guessing about 2 years from application to actual time he will be able to AOS

Thank you!  That's good to know.  I'm not crazy about the extra time, but maybe I'll have some time to make up the difference with overtime at my current job.  Thanks again!
