Hey everyone!!

I have a question.  I have not filed taxes for 2018 but did for the previous years. I am not working currently so my question is do I have to fill out form I-864 or can I just use the documents of my loint sponsor since i will not be able to provide a work letter myself.

if you are the petitioner then yes, you must file the i864 as the primary sponsor

attach a letter explaining why you don't need to file taxes, your joint sponsor will file his or her own i864

Thanks for your help. I have an other question, my brother is going to sponsor , his income is enough however he filed joint income tax with his wife. Does his wife have to file  form I-864A, as an household member?
