Form 130 previous DS160 error

I have been denied a B1/B2 visa in 2016 twice. I was married then now I am divorce. Now I have met my wife she is in the US and we got married in Nigeria. She is planning to file for me.  My fear now is that on my Previous DS-160 I Submitted I just realized the dates I graduated wasn’t key in correctly and the date I finish. I need to know if immigration will go after my education background or not or they just interested in checking my background and making sure our marriage was real. Please advice what to do. Thank you.

Ensure your applications are filled out truthfully and correctly. As long as you have an actual graduation from that specific educational institution, I don’t think you’ll have too much of an issue regarding exact dates as long as the years are right. Your previous applications are reviewed when applying for a spousal visa, but to what extent they will investigate is up to them. They may make it a problem, they may not. It’s all up to the consulate. I wish you luck in your application.

Your I-130 shouldn’t be impacted by the previous DS-160 issues, but once you reach the consular portion it could be reviewed.

Correct.  "Errors" are honest mistakes.  Intentional misrepresentations that are material to the decision process can be killers of new visa applications.
