Hello.  I got RFE for my i751, responded to it. Now it got transfered to different office. Meaning interview. from what i see wait times for interview r long. So i am just gonna file n400. I am eligible and it doesnt make difference that my i751 is still not approved? Will this prolonger my i751 at this point? Any cons/benefits

Other question is from what ive seen filling online is insanely easy. Like really simple straightforward questions. is there anything to be careful about not to mess up? And i only need two documents, marriage cert and green card? Do i fille only my expired green card. Or my i551 stamp or extension letter? Or anything else?

How likely is it to merge with my i751 case?

Are you talking about the two year greencard that has to be renewed by sending evidence and then they will send you a 10 year greencard? Isn't the 751 for the fiance visa

Do you have a two year conditional greencard?

Yes i do have 2yr green card. It expired 18 months ago. So i got stamp to extend it since my i751(removal of condition) is still in processing(waiting for interview), even after 18 months extension.

I751 is removal of condition for us that got 2year green card, once they remove condition(proving marriage is legit) u get 10 year one.

Hi, so you are trying to remove conditions, is a 2 year GC..

Wow so your card is expired for 18 months...Did you get a stamp in the passport or they put a sticker on the card itself?

As for applying the N400, I think this is the form to become a citizen..

But I think that you cannot apply for citizenship if you haven't had conditions removed, and after that I think you might have to wait some more...Maybe you could check with an immigration lawyer to see whats going on...

It's hard to say if it will delay your ROC. Many people have gotten their green card after filing the i-751. Others have had no movement. My suggestion is to just apply for naturalization. The wait times for that can also be very long. Might as well get in line.

When you start the application it will tell you what files are required. You can save your progress so you can start, when you get to the documents submission section, there will be a place to upload documents.
