fingerprint police report in Indonesia?

Hi,

 

Does the US embassy in Indonesia require fingerprint police certificate for the countries you have stayed in? or is name check good enough? 

 

Dated for almost 3 years before he proposed. 💍

16 Oct 2019 - Sent I-129F

18 Oct 2019 - Delivered

24 Oct 2019 - NOA1 notice date

7 Feb 2020 - NOA2 notice date

13 Mar 2020 - P3 Received

20 Mar 2020- DS-160 fee paid

15 Jan 2021 - Visa Approved!

21 Jan 2021 - Visa status changed to "issued"

27 March 2021 - Entered US

21 April 2021 - Married 👰🤵

30 April 2021- AOS delivered

Each country has their own requirements. Check the reciprocity table on the nvc website.

Opps, edit. Sorry, I misunderstood your question. 

I don't believe they require you to submit SKCK from Indonesia's Polri. 

However I think if you have lived in another country for longer than a certain period of time you are required to obtain police clearance from that country. For example I applied my K1 visa in 2016 while living in Indonesia. I did not submit SKCK however I lived in Australia for 2 years so I submitted a police clearance from the Victoria State police department. All was done online. Very easy, but each country may have different requirement.

I have my Australian and Malaysian Police record ready. Both are name checks only though and not fingerprint checks. I hope that will suffice. I received both records in December and still waiting for NOA2. I believe both records are valid up to 1 year?
