I had my K1 interview on 18th December 2019 and my visa was approved by the consular.

Meanwhile, my case status has been stuck on "Application recieved" even though I was told by the consular that my passport was going to be ready within two weeks,

although, my case was updated on 18th and 19th, that is on my interview day and the following day and has also been changed from Immigrant to Nonimmigrant.

Is there anyone who has experienced such?

While there are no guarantees, generally when a K-1 CEAC status switches to nonimmigrant, we see the visa issued shortly after.  Best of luck, and let us know what happens.

With millions applying for a visa I am sure this has happened before.

Nigeria is a very difficult embassy to process through. Even though they told you that you were approved, approval isn't a sure thing till you have your visa in your hands. The fact that the dates have changed is a sign that someone is "touching" your record. We have seen 2 weeks to months before Nigerians receive their visa. You'll need more patience. Don't make any plans or quit your job especially don't but airline tickets that can't be changed.

I had my immigrant visa interview on the 19th of December, 2019. Status changed the following day to Application received till date. Today makes it the 10th business day. Seems we are in the same boat.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Amen. I hope so too. You said you sent a message to the embassy. What was their reply?

Yes I did, but I got an auto reply which states that "response could take up to 5-7 days" but few hours back, my status has been changed to "Administrative Processing"

You must of missed by earlier post which states there is always a day for your embassy. Further adjudication, many applicants, short of man power.... choose your poision as there are many reasons why there is a delay it's just you will never know what they are.

Also, the embassy will take a biometric (fingerprints) from the beneficiary at the time of the interview. During post-interview processing the fingerprint card is scanned and checked against a number of interagency databases to ensure the true integrity of the individual who is migrating.  For some there are no "hits" for others there may be unresolved "hits" which take time to followup on the cause.

More patience.
