Petitioner changed occupation - consul did not ask about it during the interview: is this a concern?

My petitioner was laid off a couple of months ago and got a new job just a month after so we got the new employment certificate and also prepared a co-sponsor just in case needed. I had my interview (IR1) last week, I told the consul at the pre-screening that the petitioner changed occupation but she said it's not important and that she would get only the documents uploaded to CEAC. I waited for the American consul to ask me about the petitioner's job as it is like one of the most important questions during the interview, but he did not! I was debating whether to offer the documents or not (I read here that it is advised not to say anything unless asked) and I just didn't. Would this be a concern? I'm just waiting for my visa and haven't scheduled CFO appointment yet.

During CFO seminar they ask questions about the petitioner and one of them is the job - which is why I'm a quite worried.

Also do they ask about it at POE?

No, they do not.

I'm assuming that because you referenced CFO, you're talking about Manila?  Manila seems to have it's own parameters for adjudicating K-1 applications, and honestly it doesn't seem as if sponsorship/public charge is of primary concern. This is an anecdotal observation from my years on VJ, and not based on any data.

CFO is something completely different than the US embassy. If they didn't ask about the job then they were satisfied with the documents already submitted.

CFO is CFO it is a Philippines thing     ...  has nothing to do with the visa process OR you entering the USA.

Nope CBP does not ask about your husband's employment at POE.   Relax!

Did your husband pay the immigration fee to USCIS ?   Need that paid for your green card to be issued after your arrival in the USA.
