I have two questions about this authorization form. I am using James Shortcuts for I-864. I am using the income of a household member to sponsor my wife. Do I need this authorization form for both me and each household member whose income I am using to sponsor my wife. Secondly in the post section of this authorization, there is a space for the name of embassy. It is already filled as "Manila". I need to change it to New Delhi. Do I need to have a space between New and Delhi or just write it together as NEWDELHI. I would appreciate the help. Thanks

It's in James' shortcuts. I have it here on my desk and it should include: cover letter, I-864 coversheet, copies of tax returns with W-2s, copies of pay stubs, and letter of employer.

If you mean in the actual envelope you'll get from the NVC, it's three sheets: the barcoded coversheet, a sheet with instructions (where to get the I-864 on the 'net) and a sheet with the NVC's contact information. Oh, and a return envelope :)

Thanks for the info. I read your post about getting the cranky operator today. I almost called NVC this morning (before reading your post) to ask the same exact question about the I864 being generated. I'm glad I didn't now. :(

Good luck to you and to getting your packet mailed out this week!

Thanks! I've noticed that we have a nearly identical timeline. You have always been a few days ahead of me. I should just keep a check on your timeline instead of wasting calls to the NVC.....

Oh my gosh, don't let a nasty operator stop you in your tracks. I called again later on today, got a nicer operator and she told me that the I-864 had been generated. Then I went to the post office to mail it since I already had it ready to send. I'm not wasting any time baby.

I saw that too, the nearly identical timelines. Haha! Even our original posting petition days are just one day apart! :)

Based on your timeline I'd say your I-864 envelope was probably generated yesterday as well!
