I called the NVC in Porthsmouth NH and they said Ciudad Juarez processing times for interviews are behind.  In September they were working on paperwork received in December of 2018.  So if that is the case my paperwork was complete by the NVC on August 5th, 2019 they send my completed forms Juarez.  If Juarez keeps the same pace I won't be notified until April or May of 2020.

Hello, I received a letter from the NVC saying my case was in queue for an appointment date. This letter is dated August 27 2019. Does this mean my appointment may not even be scheduled until May 2020? I was under the impression that it took approx 90 days. Is that what the NVC told you? I appreciate any info you may provide.

I received the same letter dated August 5, 2019.  I called after 90 days  to ask because I hadn't heard anything.  I asked the person when could I expect notice because I was planning my holiday vacation and did not want to miss the appointment.  He said "go on your vacation cause you will not be called in December,  in September they are working on paperwork from December of 2018.  You are in line for the interview, Juarez is the busiest center we have.  Just figure the months with the information I've given you".

So in Sept they are calling Dec 2018 Oct will be calling Jan 2019

Nov 2019 - Feb 2019

Dec 2019 - Mar 2019

Jan 2020 - April 2019

Feb 2020 - May 2019

March 2020 - June 2019

April 2020 - July 2019

May 2020 - August 2019

So unless they finish their backlog quicker.  August will not be notified until May of 2020.

This  for every kind of visa? That's crazy mean we have to wait almost one year after NVC accept our documents to schedule interview.
