Which is my Local Field Office?

My physical address is in Seattle, but currently me and husband are staying in LA with his parents. So we put LA address as our mailing address when filling all the forms.

 

Earlier this month, my biometrics was scheduled in LA. I was quite surprised because I thought I have to fly back to Seattle for the bio appointment.

 

But now I’m confused, is Seattle my Local field office or it should be LA LFO?

How would USCIS be able to determine where you live, other than by the address you list on the paperwork you give them?  Obviously if you listed an LA address, that is where they think you live, and that is where your biometrics and interview will be.

On the I-485 form, I put Seattle address as my Physical address (current address) and LA address as my mailing address. So I thought Seattle would be my local office.
