So the biometrics is set to be scheduled WITHIN 12 days, or after 12 days we will hear something? Just concerned as we had no idea this was going to move so fast and have travel planned.

Since you filed online, I think you should get your appointment letter by 12 days, not after 12 days. I actually think that you will get the letter tomorrow, online.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

OK thank you. I joined. Hope that is the case and we can get it taken care of prior to leaving. We are scheduled to leave the 6th so now after more research we may have some conflict. Hopefully we get the notice early and go walk in. Ugh! Never thought I would complain of things moving quickly, we thought we had planned this just right to not have to worry about interfering with holiday travel. Argh.

Hey just want to introduce myself. I used VJ along time ago but forgot my info, so i have started a new one. I've been in USA for 10 years originally came on K-1 visa. I could have been eligible for 3 year but i guess since I've lived here for 10 they qualified me under the 5 year rule. I added my information to the google sheets. Is there any other forums i should follow or know of to follow. I Am completely rusty with visa journey since i haven't been keeping up to date with all the info. Thanks

There is no problem at all with rescheduling for the biometrics appt. Same thing happened with me. The letter tells you what to do to reschedule. They don't hold it against you and you might have to wait another month. That is all I had to wait.
