The morons at USCIS misspelled Hachemi's first name as "Hachomi" on his green card. I filled out the I-90 and I am going to send it back tomorrow. I tried (unsuccessfully) a search to see how long it will take before he will get a corrected one. Any one that had this problem, can you please let me know how long it will take to get a replacement? Do you think if we made an infopass appointment they will stamp his passport, so he can start looking for work? Any advice will be appreciated.

Last night I made an infopass appointment in Memphis. They even had an appointment at 9:45 today. We got there about 10 minutes early and went straight to the window. I showed her his green card and the copy of his birth certificate, copy of the I-485 and passport. She looked in the computer and said " It is spelled right when I pull up his case." Anyway, she typed some stuff in the computer, took out a big stamp and stamped a red stamp in his passport. It expires in 6 months. She told me I needed to fill out the I-90 and send the green card back. No fee. (I already have it ready to send.)

We were in and out in 10 minutes.
