ROM & Passport Renewal

I have done some research, but need to confirm what I think is true. My wife's Philippine passport will expire in June 2020. So we need to mail the required documents to do the Report of Marriage and then when that comes back, then we fill out the required documents to get her passport renewed? There is no way to do both ROM and renewal of passport at the same time, unless we physically go to Washington, DC?

Passport requires physical presence.   Cannot be done via mail.  ROM can be done via mail.   My wife did hers at a consulate outreach event

YMMV

Did you do both at an outreach event?

No, when we made the appointment for the event we requested both, but the consulate highly recommended we do ROM first through the mai,  which is what we did.  Very painless.

YMMV

We did both at a consulate outreach event.  ROM and renewal of her passport in her married name all in one afternoon.

ROM can be done by mail.  Renewal of the passport requires a face to face at the consulate or an outreach event.

1. The Report of Marriage form I am finding is April 2018 and the Last Name for the wife has (Single Name) listed right on the line where we should write the name?

2. We do not understand number 8, naturalized?

3. They want us to put the dates as 30 September 2019 and not September 30, 2019?

1.  Complete the form online, highlight (single name) and delete it, then type in her maiden name

2.  leave blank  or  N/A     unless a naturalized citizen

3.  Philippines uses military format;  day~month~year
