good question as they are not good with the site

Congratulations

but ours did not say issued till he had been here almost a year

alabama friend said issued (May) and it was in Aramex for delivery in July (about 5 weeks later)

others,  i think,  are faster

but don't buy a plane ticket till you actually have that passport with visa stamp (and look it over good for any mistakes )

no,  i mean we had the visa and he came

and the CEAC site did not show as issued until almost a year later

at that time he picked passport with visa stamp up at embassy

now,  it goes thru Aramex and they will inform you it is ready for pickup

it is a good idea to bring an extra birth certificate ,  record of shots, another marriage ceritifcate and any school records you have

After you get the visa,  Please write a embassy review and let us know all

like how long were you in AP

and the fact  you had to do a 2nd interview

and 2nd medical

plus how long it took to get the visa after said "issued"

this info helps us to guide new members

we did not have to do the new ds 260 with the long AP so you can give good advise on this issue
