Hello Visa Journey Members,

My husband had his 2nd interview seven months ago (Feb. 2019).  The Consulate told my husband "Congratulations. Your visa is approved."

Well, his case is still pending in administrative processing.  I have called and emailed the Embassy in Casablanca several times.  I was told by consulate officer in July (2019) that the case is on the last phase of administrative processing.

Is anyone else in the same situation as my husband?  Has anyone been issued a visa several months after his or her 2nd interview?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Administrative processing is mandatory for all cases.  However, some consulates are known to have extended AP.  Casa is one of them.  AP can not be expedited.  Please be advised that a visa is not officially approved until the status changes to "Issued".

some are waiting a lot longer

be aware to get the visa stamp in the passport , your husband will be required to have a new medical exam

as travel must be done within 6 months of the medical

so, when the embassy says to do the new exam,  then and only then,  will you really be in the final stage

hopefully ,  he will come before this year ends

incha allah
