Hey guys, How to correct the error of the Baptismal certificate of my late Father? He born on October 25, 1970 but in the baptismal certificate it was September 25, 1970.

I try to correct the original copy of baptismal certificate to get the benefits from his contributions in any private institutions. Am i correct to do this ?

Maybe ask at whatever civil department in the country where it was issued?

I think for correcting baptismal certificates, you can go to which church he was baptized. My father's name on my baptismal certificate is different from my birth certificate (cause he has two legal names). I remember asking a church employee and according to them, if I want to change it, I have to go to CBCP Main Office in Intramuros, Manila.

Yeah. He doesn't register to the Civil Registry only in the church which he was baptized.

That is a church issue .. if they won't correct it not sure what you can do.

At some point you should complete a filing of a birth certificate at the LCR so there will be record with PSA.
