Change of Employment

Hi all!

 

I submitted my I-129F petition for my finace, and currently gathering all paperwork needed to go along with the Affidavit of support. However, I recently changed jobs. Is it going to be an issue since it's not declared on the 129F form. What should I do about that besides providing paperwork from my current employer? (Along with paperwork from my previous job). Any advice would be helpful!

Not a big deal if you change employment during the process.   Update info at the embassy phase

Oh okay great! So at the interview just have my fiancé mention it? Or should I add a letter along with the affidavit from my new employer of when I began my new job?

In any documents that you need to complete if it asks about your employment, update it with your new info.  There will be the I-134 & financial support evidence, if the form asks for your employer info that is your moment to update things.    It doesn't require a special letter.
