Hello all, we're one step closer to the interview - finally!

Quick information: Our embassy is the one in Frankfurt Germany.

We just "received" our packet 3 (it's on the way, but they told me over mail, that I can go ahead and mail the information to them - do I interpret this right?)

The mail says:

This office has received an approved visa petition for you and is ready to begin the process of your application. Your case is filed under your name as shown below.

Please refer to the Mission Germany website at
https://de.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/

Please read and follow the instructions very carefully. Failure to do so will result in your visa process being delayed or your immigrant visa being refused at the interview.

[... personal information ...]

Attached find some important Information for your own records, which you should read carefully.

Please also complete this page and mail it along with your forms and documents:

- attach a copy of your passport data page

Family Name                                                                First Name                                            Middle Name

ALL other Names Used or Aliases (If married woman, give maiden name)

Full Name in Native Alphabet (If Roman letters not used)

List below all places you have lived for at least six months since reaching the age of 16, including places in your country of nationality. Begin with your present residence:

City or Town                                         Province                                               Country                                  From/To (mm-yyyy)

So can I print out the checklist form from the link in the email, gather all documents and send them off?

I'm a bit confused about what I have to send to the embassy, is everything listed in this official document enough?
https://de.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/21/Instructions-for-IV-and-K-Visa-Applicants-1.pdf

There is no word about a letter of intent on that list, do we need to send it along with the other documents, or just bring it to the interview?

I'm so thankful for any answers!
Especially if someone that just had it's interview in Frankfurt could give me a list of documents and files they sent to the embassy.

Best regards

Savannah & David

So it lists everything that is needed and I won't miss to send stuff if I follow it carefully?

Exactly,  they list what they need you to send to them

YMMV

Thank you so much.

Since you seem to be very knowledgeable about all of this.

I'm confused about the following:

On the list it says the following:

Quote

For Immigrant Visa Applicants PROOF OF DOCUMENT DELIVERY ADDRESS: Please remember to include a copy of your address registration confirmation page with the other documents that you send to the Consulate before your interview.

For Fiancé(e) and (K) Visa Applicants PROOF OF DOCUMENT DELIVERY ADDRESS: Please submit a copy of your appointment confirmation at the time of the visa interview instead of the registration confirmation. Further information on document delivery is available at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/de/de-iv-documentdelivery.asp

What exactly do I have to send them now?

The registration confirmation page and later on bring the appointment confirmation to the interview?
Or should I not include anything and just bring the appointment confirmation to the interview?

Thank you so much!

The first section is for an immediate relative visa which as a k1, you ignore

YMMV

Hello, nice to hear that you go to the Frankfurt Consulate. Our K1 was also there, and we had a really good experience.

About the Letters of Intent: It is not necessary to include them for packet 3, but we did anyway, with a more current date than the ones that we sent along with our I-129f. If you have them, it can't hurt to send them, or bring them to the interview with you.

I sent the registration confirmation page with the packet and also brought it to the interview, since I read somewhere that you should bring it again to the interview (even though they did not need it anymore when I asked them in Frankfurt). The Appointment Confirmation I also brought the the interview and they actually wanted to see it.
