Hey guys. I Am currently waiting on an interview for my husband. We are cetegory CR-1 and for case complete on August 6th 2019 & still no interview. Does anyone know the timeline until when i will receive my interview letter ? This is so overwhelming 🙄

These are rough estimates, they can vary based on NVC backlog and the embassy from which your husband will interview:

Takes about 1 month from case complete for NVC to receive the application from USCIS.

Takes another 1 month, or so, for NVC to make available in their web application to allow you to make 2 separate online payments.

Takes another 1 month, or so, for your interview to be scheduled by the embassy.

Takes another 1 month, or more, for the date of your interview.

 

Plan on getting your visa about 6 months from case complete.

 

Note, you also, can cause the delays in your CR1 processing. You should have money ready to pay the fees. You should start preparing your Affidavit of Support.

I would say right now with the oncoming hurricane , there will be a wait to see how your area is or is not affected.

this process has always been a hurry up and wait but now you have an additional issue with the weather
