UPGRADE PROCESSING TIMELINE

Ok so heres the little background...

i applied for my wife in,

August-2017 on LPR.

I got the approval on May-2019 on LPR.

I became US CITIZEN in June-2019.

Now i am waiting on NVC to assign me case number to begin with. So now i have to upgrade my spouse case from LPR TO US CITIZEN. Does anyone know the NVC UPGRADING PROCESSING TIMELINE???

And if everything goes smooth, how far i am from the interview???

 

Note: NVC told me there is no time frame they can give me.

 

Please guide me, i am in a situation now!

even though I received a case number from NVC and now they are asking me for fees, ds-260,civil document and proof of citizenship???

No, that would be for USCIS to NVC. If you’re already asked to do full NVC procedure then expect couple of months.

Yeah coz the case is already approved and in NVC now!

this is correct, nvc has a different set of fees for their processing. u will be filling out a i864 and submitting your tax transcripts for financial. and for your wife's portion u will fill out DS-260. u will submit. urdu nikkah nama, urdu to English nikkah nama, and nadra nikkah nama. wife's birth certificate, marriage certificate and a copy of the passport. good luck. read instructions before filing.
