Obtaining Argentina Police Certificate Outside of Argentina

My Argentine husband obtained his police certificate from the consulate in Mexico City. He received an email with a link to print out his certificate. So essentially his police certificate is just a copy. It doesn't have any special seal or anything. Is this accepted? Has anyone outside of Argentina received a certificate like this? Can you share a picture of what yours looks like? Thanks so much!

Based on what the NVC Reciprocity table shows:

Procedure for Obtaining:

Aplicants in Argentina:The certificate must be requested by scheduling an appointment and paying the fee at a bank: http://www.dnrec.jus.gov.ar/

Aplicants outside Argentina: Applicants should visit the closest Argentine Consulate or Embassy with their passport or Argentine national ID card to request the police records. Applicants must state that they would like a police record “con excepción al artículo 51 del Código Penal.” Applicants must be fingerprinted and pay a fee.  They will receive an e-mail on the same day containing a code that can be used to access and print the police records online.

So it seems like what you are saying should be totally fine. NVC will be expecting a version you printed yourself
