Does an RFIE put EAD on hold too?

We filed for my husband's AOS back in March. He promptly got an RFIE for his birth certificate and it took his parents a month to locate and send the correct family register from his home country.

Would the EAD have been put on hold too? It looks like people who filed in March are starting to get their EAD cards and so I'm wondering if my husband will be getting his soon or next month.

We also filed an inquiry on the assumption that the March date is our processing date.

Thanks!

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: Vietnam

In my case, no.

I filed end of on 31st ofJuly last year and received the EAD on the 13th of Jan.

It took me a good one month from receiving the notification about the RFIE on phone to get the answer delivered (including time to actually get the RFIE on hand, prepare the answers, and get it delivered to USCIS).
