9 months of AP with no update

I don't know what start with but I'm really so upset about what me and my kids are going through right now and the way the embassy treating our case,  my two (under 18) children had their interview last December in Casablanca 🇲🇦 ,the consul said everything was ok but they only needed us to scan couple documents which we already did so i went home and i scanned them again , and since that day my kids visas status is on AP,  and it s been more than 9months now with no update and the last update was in the interview day, i tried to call them to just know what should i do or what we messing but they always refuse to talk to me about my kids s visas, I'm kind of lost right now bc i just don't know what s wrong with my kids case

Lots of visa applicants go through AP, especially at Casablanca.  It isn't out of the ordinary and it does not mean your family is being victimized.

Did the keep their passports?

 

they are doing the new security checks on the social media attached to the ds 260 the kids (or you if you did them)  

many have been on hold since November and December 2018 as they got the ds5535 

so, the embassy is checking each case for this additional security checking

so sorry it is happening to all now

and you will not get any answers from embassy till all this is done
