Question about I-864 at the interview

My PD date is March 2018 so case has been pending for a long time. interview is September 2019.

My interview notice says I should "bring the I-864 with all required evidence including (unless already submitted)"

  • Income tax return for most recent year and W2s
  • Letters from each current employer verifying rate of pay etc....
  • Evidence of sponsors US citizenship etc....

We submitted the I-864 with the 2017 tax returns with the original application. Is this sufficient and counts as "already submitted" or should we be taking the most recent (2018) tax returns? Is the letter from employer really necessary?

My spouse's income is well above that which is required, and our combined household income higher still, and this is accounted for in the 2017 tax returns.

Just to be safe I would bring anything that you have. You never know what are they going to ask you. I brought for my interview everything that we already submitted, EVERYTHING. They asked us for some of the original documents that we sent.

Also, we brought the most recent taxes, even tho it was for already next year (from when we submitted paperwork was exactly one year to our interview)
