Hey everyone,

So im trying to think of things to prove me and my partner have met in person for the fiance visa. I want to use the passport stamps. But when my partner entered australia, because he is US citizen, he was able to bypass the border security and come through the automatic gates to enter into australia. so no stamp. whether he got one when he left (or arrived in USA) i dont believe so. apart from flight tickets, is there any other way to prove he was in australia with me? (we have photos, but i know thats not seen as strong evidence - and we didnt stay in any accommodation we stayed at my parents house).

Worse case, we have some evidence from when i was in USA (which is within the 2 year requirement), but just want to show we spent an extended amount of time together.

Thank you everyone.

Sounds like pictures and boarding passes is all you have, and in my view, it is enough.

And I'm curious: How is it that he bypassed border security? Even locals should go through customs when arriving on a flight from another country.

I probably didnt word it right. but only because i dont know what it was. so he was able to use the kiosk. that gave him a special "card" and he was able to come the same way as me. (this is brisbane airport) and you go through the automatic gates where you put your passport in a machine, stand in front of a camera. then it opens into where you collect baggage. we got dog sniffed then headed to my parents house. only person we saw was the person who looks at your immigration card. i think its only for australia, USA and maybe UK citizens. other countries had to go through and physically speak to someone.

My partner was so surprised how easy it was hahaha.

If pictures and passes sound like enough (and it close to all i have) then im happy. thank you :)

Submit a request for entry and exit records from Aus immigration for him. The information is retained by them with a database ESTA or Otherwise it doesn’t matter... easy enough to get
