Age limit of joint sponsor?

Hi,

 

first I would like to say that I looked for this information and haven't found anything. So the question is:

Is there any top age limit of joint sponsor? The question is not only if there is anything in the law, but also if someone experienced anything about this topic.

Story is that great grandmother offered to be as joint sponsor at the age of 97. She has some retirement income + owns the house.

 

At the end: visa is CR-1.

immigration  can not discriminate because of age (but they will probably ask for a different cosponsor)

They can not deny purely due to age, but there can still be a concern of ability to ensure you will not become a public charge.

Assets would be part of the public charge consideration, sure.
