billsafari,

For what it's worth, do not deal with CSC or the 1-800 number. Here is a number to headquarters, although you may have to keep trying all day to reach someone, it is better than dealing with those punks at USCIS.

1- 202- 514-4316

Also, keep trying the NVC. It seems my petition was approved on May 11th, and was received at NVC on May 21st. The conformation letter came about a week later. Unfortunately, that is all I have that says anything about my approval.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I hope you can make some progress . I called that number a few times, but never got an answer, then I called NVC later on and asked if that number was legit, and was told yes, but keep trying as someone will answer eventually. That is the best I can offer you, billsafari.

I am hoping it was already sent. It takes about 90 days from NOA2 to Interview in Russia. I arrived in Russia on June 1 to Aug 31. I am hoping she will come home with me. A departure at Aug 31 puts me at about 108 days so I am praying they sent it. I will be pretty pi**** off if I come alone because the CSC was dragging their feet. I will call all day today to get some answers. I better get some good news!!!!!! Thanks for the number and advice Nag!!

Try not to worry. I was approved May 3rd and my fiancee recieved his packet 3 and interview date, all without letters from CSC or NVC. I was pretty aggravated by it, but I read the USCIS processing update & called both CSC & NVC. Nothing left to do! Lets hope it comes soon.

 moved to the area  about to be sent off  WOW! They're morons! They never cease to amaze me with the inadequacy. Of course we haven't heard anything, but our NOA2 was just May 30. There just seems to be NO system to anything they do there. Petitions hide away in Mystery Room One for maybe 2, maybe 3, maybe 12 months. Approve some petitions. Send NOA2 to Mystery Room Two to wait some more. Mail guy comes and picks up random things around the Room to mail to NVC. Seriously - no pattern at all to it.

It took 2 weeks for us to get to NVC, but once there we only waited 2 days. Oh and Reeses, we're in the same situation. Did you request for the NOA2 to be sent? I think they forgot about us. I called last week, but I'm nervous about their incompitance, so I'm calling my congressman tomorrow and see if they can shake it loose ;)

Well I called the NVC and they have not recieved my petition. The USCIC doesnt know anything of course. I am pretty PO'd right now!! Does anyone remember the prompt sequence to get to the CSC office?????? Still no hard copy!!! There are no words to explain my disgust for the USCIS right now. I spent an hour on the phone last night(in Russia) calling only to get idiots and no answers. I wish I owned a F-16 and 1 2000 LB bunker buster!!

Ugh! I'm so sorry!!

I called NVC today, and they have received my petition. That sucks that they are being such slackers on yours though!

I don't know the prompt sequence to get the CSC office, I just know I was connected to CSC when I called the USCIS 1-800 number and did the RFE trick around 10 to 11 AM Mountain Time.
