5 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

My oath ceremony is scheduled for Mid-October 2019 because I requested  name change.

My FO is Baltimore, MD.  I need to expedite the oath ceremony because of some  emergencies in my company (I need to be USC to work on many projects).

has anyone been successful in expediting the judicial oath ceremony ?  should I contact the court directly?  There is no way to make info-pass appointment in Baltimore

I don't have an answer for you however id like to ask a few things. When was you your interview and when did you find out that you were approved? More specifically, when was your online portal updated?

This would have you an idea if you're allowed to expedite your judicial oath ceremony:

What if I need to expedite my oath ceremony? Your oath ceremony may be expedited in an emergency or for humanitarian reasons, such as a serious illness of the applicant or a member of the applicant’s family. Submit a request in writing to the District Director of your local USCIS office (for an administrative ceremony) or the court (for a judicial ceremony). Include evidence of your need for an expedited oath, if available. USCIS’ criteria for expediting cases are found here: www.uscis. gov/forms/expedite-criteria.
