Hello all vj's,I have a question for someone who is having difficulty to receive her NOA1 from her I-130 .

petition which she filled in April.

She said her check has been cashed, but have not received her original Nao1 for I-130 since 35days from filling.

But she has confirmed that her check for $190 has been cashed by Uscis.

My question is that how can she get her receipt number from the cashed chech online?please need detailed explanation

How can she file the I-129f for k-3 without the noa1 copy?

Is it possible to file the k-3 just with receipt nunber gotten from the online cashed check.

I will appreciate every possible suggestion from you all.

best of luck,

Bless you.

Waiting for your answers

If the short answer of "Print an image of the check after logging in to your bank account online." then the shorter answer is "Call you bank and ask for help."

Before you file the I-129F without an NOA1, you need to make sure you have a receipt # for the I-130, that way you will know for sure that it is in their system. Then you can include that receipt # in your cover letter for the I-129F so the service center agent knows that the I-130 has also been filed.

I physically went into the bank and paid for a copy of my check.

The strange part was the receipt number on the back of my check was incorrect, so I had to call USCIS to get the correct number. Mr. Murphy's law applied in this case.

Yes, as other posters have said, you can get the check image from your online banking site, calling the customer service number of your bank to order a copy, or even going into a branch (assuming your bank has a branch nearby). Once you have the check image, look on the back of the check for a number that begins with WAC (for California Service center) or EAC (for Vermont service center) followed by a 10 digit number.

You can use this at www.uscis.gov to check your case status. You can call the customer service line to verify that the receipt number is correct before filing the 129F with the receipt number. Lastly, you might want to ask customer service about the NOA1 hard copy. They were saying at the begining of May that they would be caught up with all receipting at CSC and VSC by June 15, so you might be just about to get your NOA1 anyways.
