I-130 Approved by USCIS: 11th April 2019


Case Created by NVC: 2nd July 2019


Paid all fees: 2nd July 2019


Submitted documents: 7th July 2019


NVC accepted all documents: 9th July 2019


Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified: 9th July 2019

 

July and August 2019 Visa bulletin F2A category is "Current". Does this mean the interviews will be scheduled soon?


What is the wait time for F2A category to have interview scheduled at Mumbai Consulate?


What is the reason for the delay?

It just means one can start the DoS step or CEAC steps.

It is a bit delayed but keep an eye here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/collect-and-submit-forms-and-documents-to-the-nvc/step-6-submit-documents-to-the-nvc.html

Accepted like means the forms and documents are acceptable . It likely need review.

 

So expect 2-3 months more?

Believe it or not ...you will be the luck 1 and jump the queue and will be assigned a ID soon...the way they accepted your docs in 2 days...F2A is current and this will benefit you..just don’t forget to update VJ community if u do get a IL soon ...soon means for August

Welcome to the group of Documentarily Qualified people's QUEUE!! People are waiting from last 6 months .... in fact nobody has received an IL with 2017 PD in India for very very super busy MUMBAI Consulate. 

 

Reason?? Maybe they are very busy with Tourist Visa, Student Visa (Upcoming Fall Session), Entertainment Visa for Bollywood Actors to perform in american cities this summer, Asylum Visa and all other highly prioritized visas. We are just F2As, we can wait ...
