K1 Visa Casablanca

Hi everyone, I filed the K1 visa in November. The USCIS approved the 129f on March 21, 2019. My fiance and I received our case number from the nvc April 30th, and our case status says ready online since May 3rd 2019. I tried contacting the embassy in Casablanca but getting a response is like waiting for God to talk with you. I researched and have no idea if there is something I'm missing. My fiance has not received any instruction packet and we have been emailing the embassy with no response. I had her complete the DS-160 to be on the safe side. Does she need to just wait for them to contact her? Does she pay the visa fee during the interview? And does the embassy schedule the K1 visa interview? Are we missing any steps or do we just need to wait? Our petition approval is set to expire July 20th, 2019. Please respond with a positive answer, I would truly appreciate it.

From my understanding from others you pay the fee at the embassy and as far as the interview the embassy will send the beneficiary an email about the interview but they are very backed up and some people have waited up to 7 months for the interview I’m guessing the extend the petitionapproval because mine is scheduled to expire on the 21st of this month i would just continue emailing them on the automated system they have on their website

you will be waiting months to hear anything

even a IR1 spouse visa sent to embassy in January doesn't have an interview till July

K1's are backed up by several months

for best information read the Morocco posts on morocco portal and the embassy reviews

prepare well for the interview

the Moroccan must learn every little and big thing about the USC

the petition will not expire as they will extend the time when your packet is in hands of the embassy
