CEAC problem Uploading documents

How do u upload 10 pages documents (affidavit of support) and shrink it to 2mb ?

Did you fill the form in electronically? 

 

I haven't filed my AOS yet, but I've been told if you fill the form electronically that the encryption on it makes the file very large. Rather, it's recommended you print it, fill it in in pen, scan it then upload it. Generally scanned documents even if large are small files (on the order of KB rather than MB). You could also try using a file compressor online that can maintain initial file format. Hopefully that helps. I'll keep an eye on this forum for when I complete my AOS in case I have the same problem.

Or you can also fill it in on the computer before printing and scanning it back in as an image file.
