CF1 Expiry Date in Conflict?

We received the 2-Year Greencard/Permanent Resident Card/CF1 on June 7th of 2019. I don't know if this is a problem but it says the card will expire on 11-02-2020 and our filing of 'removal of conditional basis of the status' (I-751) should be between March 06, 2021 - June 04, 2021 as June 04 was the anniversary of the date I was granted conditional status. I feel there is a problem there. If my CF1 will expire before the removal of conditional status, then I'd be illegal?

When was your I-485 approved? The expiration of the card should be 2 years from that date. And the 90 day filing window for ROC would begin 90 days before that date.

 

If your card says otherwise, then it's a mistake. File an I-90 due to DHS error (no fee required in this case) to get it corrected.

Thank you very much for your responses. I got approved June 4th, 2019. So, yea, I knew it that this is going to be a problem. I noticed it at the first time I looked at it and my husband overlooked it. lol 👍

So, they told us to just file the removal of condition of status before the due date on the Green Card and just ignore the date that they gave to us when I got approved for the Green Card. It's confusing.

What they told you is incorrect. What would likely happen (and has happened to others who have done this) is when you file ROC based on the dates on the green card, it will either be rejected as filing too early or sit & wait and eventually denied due to being filed too early.

Get the card fixed via an I-90.

Hello again, I hope all is well. So, we did my I-90 last year on September 10, 2019. And they told us to wait for about 5 months. And now it's July and still "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS". My GC is going to expire on November and my husband is freaking out. I don't know what to do and hope anyone can give me some advice here. Thank you. Keep safe.
