The Plaza is cool but it also could be a pain in the donkey for parking on a weekend.

Where do they have a happy hour + dinner? I don't go out much so I dunno :blush:

Kona Grill has a good happy hour, but the place gets pretty crowded. They also have a decent selection of food.

You can only smoke in the bar area, which sucks. Maybe we should consider a place with outdoor seating, so the smokers and non-smokers are all happy! :lol:

I defer to those that have lived in KC for a while, since I have only lived here for 16 months.

Nessa, have you gotten Charles on board with this plan?

Maybe he has a few places to suggest.

we don't go out either, we went play pool (that we both enjoy) a couple times and have dinner a couple times, but that was it.

we haven't talked a bout it, but yeah, I'm sure he'll agree, no problem. He just can't go when he's in Virginia (like he is now and for the next 3 weeks), it's not possible to be in 2 places at the same time, you know (at least for now, maybe in the future :P )

I live on the Northland closer to the airport. There is a shopping center called Zona Rosa that has an irish pub with a roof/deck to sit outside. I am not sure how crazy gets in there but can check it out. But I dunno if they have a happy hour. It's called O'Dowds, there is another at the Plaza.

I ate there once and the food was good :thumbs:
