Status change after interview- how long?

I finally had my interview yesterday 6/6/19 after 3 years of waiting. My interview went well and the officer was very pleasant. He said I would be approved within the day. However, It’s been more than 24 hours and I have not seen any status change on my case. Anyone has experience on how long does it take after your interviews to get status change? I’m a little nervous because he said within the day but nothing changes yet.

is it 3 years of waiting since applying for ROC or 3 of waiting for the interview to be scheduled?

3 years since application received and 1 year of waiting for the interview to be scheduled.

Was it AOS or ROC? did they request RFE? where did you have your interview?

3 years long to get an interview??

Don’t they give you 18 months extension status only? I would hope the wait time is around that?
