Bringing Mom over to the US

 I  got an RFE for late registration of birth and I was wondering if anyone could help me with the kind of documents to submitt

For now I have the following:

1. an attestation from my school listing the names of my parents they have on record and my BECE (has name of the school).

2. some old pictures of when I was a baby with my mum and other family members.

3. I will be adding 2 affidavits from my uncle and aunt

4. I also opted to do the DNA test as they said it was optional.

 

Do you think these will suffice?

 

We do not have access to my medical records (birth records) such as a weighing card for gh as most of our important documents were destroyed in a flood. Does anyone know where I can go for a copy of those records? The clinic I used to even go to while in gh has also shut down so I absolutely have no access to any of these records. The RFE letter stated that I need to prove none-existence of these records before I can submit an affidavit. Does anyone know where I can go to for this letter?

 

I will appreciate any input anyone can give.

Save yourself grief and get DNA tests. A photo of someone holding you as a baby means nothing.

I definitely will. I have an appointment booked for it. However, they still insist on secondary evidence being sent in regardless of DNA testing or not.
