Removal Of Condition

Please i would like to get some ideas

I did filed for my removal of condition last year in August unfortunately my wife did passed on a week ago she has been battling with this illness which she couldnt make it , my question is what happens whiles my removal of condition is going ??

What should i do now ?

Timeline

I’m sorry for your loss.

 

It will change to a waiver petition due to

death of your spouse.  In addition to the evidence you already submitted, gather continuance of that up until her death, and you will also need her death certificate.

 

Also to note:  you will no longer qualify for citizenship at 3 years, but rather the 5 year rule.

I can never remember the answer to this, but to err with caution, you could send a letter with a photocopy of her death certificate.  Include a copy of the NOA so they can match the letter/certificate to your file.  That being said, as long as you bring the certificate to the interview, you can switch to a waiver at that time.
