My wife and I sent our packet on April 19th and got notification it was signed for on April 23rd. We have not heard anything and the check has not been cashed yet. Just getting a little worried and of course impatient. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

2-3 weeks is normal for them to process the packet. Can even be 30 days but generally again 2-3 weeks is normal. Just relax, they will get to it soon.

Typically if your package delivery service (USPS, FedEX, UPS, etc.) got a signature for delivery of service from USCIS, then USCIS has it. Suggest that you calm down, fix yourselves a delicious beverage, sit down, and be prepared to "watch the paint dry," or "watch the grass grow." You will likely receive your NOA1 receipt within the month. If you haven't already, set up a USCIS online account, sometimes it can help you monitor the progress of your applications/petitions.
