hi guys, My fiancé had his interview at Riyadh on April 10th they gave him his passport back, he was given a white paper checked 22g asking him to submit additional proof of relationship(specifically all of our WhatsApp conversations), two passport photos along with his passport. We sent them the whatsapp convo via email that same day. And a few days later we went the passport photos and passport to them with a return airway. On the paper it says it will take 3-4 weeks for them to review the documents. However today my fiancé’s passport was returned to him with no visa. The ceac website still shows AP with and updated for today’s date. I’m so confused and sad...does this mean we are denied ?

It could be just continued administrative processing.  You could email the consulate for clarification.

We were originally put into AP under missing documents. But now it seems like general AP but shouldn’t they have atleast sent us another 221g? We have contacted them, just want to know if anybody had a similar experience

They do not always issue 221gs for administrative processing......hopefully, it will be a short one.

Something’s wrong.

Riyadh keeps the passport if they are issuing a visa.

Email them (USC not applicant) and ask them what the problem is

There was another person who was given their passport back and put into AP, after a month they completed AP and sent an email to the beneficiary to send the passport for them to issue the visa.

Did you not originally send the passport photos with the petition?

I believe they were the wrong size
